The BEA wrote an op-ed for al.com

The Business Council of Alabama recently announced the formation of the Business and Education Alliance of Alabama, commonly known as BEA, to provide guidance and offer solutions to the challenges of providing a well-trained workforce.

Dr. Joe Morton, who is an educator with four decades of experience and served for seven years as Alabama’s State Superintendent of Education, is the chairman and president of BEA, and Jay Love, who is a small businessman and former legislator and chairman of the House Education Ways & Means budget-writing committee, is the finance chairman of the BEA.
