The Mobile chamber of Commerce-Growth Alliance Task Force for Small Business Owners is sponsoring three free workshops later this month focusing on women-owned businesses, although men will be welcome.
The workshops are scheduled Sept. 25, 26, and 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night at Bishop State Community College main campus’s Yvonne Kennedy Business Technology Center Auditorium, 351 N. Broad St. (scroll down for map), in Mobile. The registration form is the green tab.
The Sept. 25 workshop will feature business topics such as is your business idea profitable and the right fit for you, business models, relationships and networking, overcoming hardships of running a small business, balancing work and family life effectively, and effective leadership styles.
The Sept. 26 workshop will focus on website formats and communicating with your audience, customer and employee experiences as a competitive advantage, small business technology best practices, and cybersecurity for business owners
The Sept. 27 workshop will feature legal advice for small business, such as licensure, bonding, and insurance, accounting practices, principals and software, how to maintain a healthy and professional relationship with your banker, maintaining your business and personal credit, and utilizing certification programs to increase revenue.
