The Business Council of Alabama on Monday presented the River Region Ethics in Business and Public Service Award in the small business category to Paragon Construction & Development Inc. of Montgomery.
The award was presented to Paragon founder John Ives by Jeremy Arthur, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama. Other nominees in the small business category were Focus on Fashion, a Montgomery retail store, and Heritage Barber and Style Shop.
The awards are a program of The Samaritan Counseling Center Inc. in collaboration with the schools of Business and Sciences at Auburn University Montgomery. Awards were given in the small, medium and large-business categories.
The awards recognize a climate of ethical integrity by businesses, organizations, and individuals, promote awareness and education concerning ethical business and public service behavior, heighten awareness of programs and services offered by The Samaritan Counseling Center that serves to strengthen families and organizations, and support the center’s healing work, according to The Samaritan Counseling Center.
