BCA Names William Newman as Administrative Assistant and Policy Analyst for Governmental Affairs

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Business Council of Alabama (BCA) announces the addition of William Newman, IV, to the BCA staff, where he will serve as the administrative assistant and policy analyst for the governmental affairs team. In this role, William will be responsible for coordinating the essential functions of the governmental affairs department as well as supporting BCA’s advocacy efforts through policy research.
 
“I am excited to be a part of BCA,” said William. “As we move into the legislative session, I look forward to working alongside the governmental affairs team in our efforts to advocate on behalf of BCA membership.”
 
Prior to joining BCA, William managed logistics and operations for an area small business. While in college, William served as a staff intern in the office of Representative Bradley Byrne, where he worked to maintain office efficiency, engage with constituents, and assist in legislative research.

William is a graduate of The University of Alabama, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in investment banking. He currently resides in Montgomery and takes every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
