It is with heavy hearts that we mark the passing of Mr. Robert “Bubba” Lee, a cherished member of the Business Council of Alabama family and a tireless advocate for the business community. Bubba served as Chairman of BCA from 1995 to 1996, a role he earned through years of committed service, including his time as ProgressPAC Chairman. During his tenure, Bubba traveled the state promoting BCA’s mission as the voice of business in Alabama.
Alongside his brother Tommy Lee, who also served as BCA Chairman in 2016, Bubba also helped build one of Baldwin County’s premier manufacturing businesses, Vulcan, Inc. His contributions to BCA, Baldwin County, and the State of Alabama have left a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of working with him.
It is because of leaders like Bubba that we are able to build upon the strong foundation he helped lay. We will continue to honor his legacy through our work and commitment to advancing Alabama’s business climate.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lee family during this time.
