MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Business Council of Alabama (BCA) announced today that ProgressPAC, BCA’s pro-jobs political affiliate, has endorsed Rich Anderson for Court of Criminal Appeals.

We remain dedicated to supporting individuals who pledge to uphold the rule of law rather than legislating from the bench.”

Anderson has over 20 years of experience in appellate courts, including 17 years as an Assistant Attorney General and appellate prosecutor. His campaign for the Criminal Appeals Court highlights his dedication to advocating for crime victims, underscoring his efforts that have reached the U.S. Supreme Court to amplify their voices.

Anderson identifies as a constitutional originalist and asserts the importance of judges acting fairly and without bias. He believes it is crucial for judges to uphold their principles, even in the face of popular opinion, and expresses confidence that his conservative values and common sense will guide his decisions.

Anderson will appear on the ballot for the November 5, 2024, general election, and will do so unopposed.
