With less than 500 days to go before competition officially begins, The Birmingham Organizing Committee of The World Games 2022 (TWG2022) today announced new partnerships with two Birmingham-based companies. Brasfield & Gorrie has been named Official Construction Partner of The World Games 2022, and HPM will serve as the Official Program Management Partner of The Games. The World Games 2022 is a multi-sport event that will take place in Birmingham from July 7-17, 2022. An anticipated 3,600 athletes will participate in more than 30 different sports throughout The Games.
One of the nation’s largest privately held construction firms, Brasfield & Gorrie has worked on several popular sporting venues that will see action during The Games, including Protective Stadium, Legion Field and the Birmingham Crossplex. Jordan-Hare Stadium, Bryant-Denny Stadium, Truist Park, Florida Ballpark at McKethan Field, the Atlanta Hawks and Emory Sports Medicine Complex, TIAA Bank Field stadium expansion, and the Chick-Fil-A College Football Hall of Fame are other notable sports and entertainment venues that Brasfield & Gorrie has worked on.
