MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Business Council of Alabama (BCA) has announced Britney Thames as the Manager of Events and Special Projects.
Thames joins the BCA team with years of administrative experience and will be instrumental in shaping and executing the organization’s events and initiatives.
“We are thrilled to welcome Britney Thames to the Business Council of Alabama as the Manager of Events and Special Projects,” said BCA President and CEO Helena Duncan. “Her extensive background and experience in the governmental arena make her an ideal addition to our team. We are confident that Britney will play a vital role in enhancing the success of BCA’s events and special projects.”
During her tenure with the Alabama Senate from 2016 to 2023, Thames initially served as the Education and Youth Affairs Committee clerk under Senator Dick Brewbaker. Later, she transitioned to work with Senator Clay Scofield, becoming committee clerk for the Confirmations Committee. Her dedication and proficiency in managing committee affairs were evident, leading to her role as the executive assistant for the Senate Republican Caucus.
Thames assumes her role immediately, and the Business Council of Alabama looks forward to achieving new milestones under her capable leadership.
