BCA Endorses Tuscaloosa’s Bryan Brinyark in Upcoming Special Runoff Election

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Business Council of Alabama (BCA) announced today that the board of directors of ProgressPAC, BCA’s pro-jobs political affiliate, will endorse Bryan Brinyark in the special election runoff for Alabama House of Representatives District 16.

Brinyark has served as the municipal judge for the City of Centreville since 2005 and previously served in the same capacity for the City of Brent and the Town of Woodstock. He currently substitutes as a municipal judge for the City of Tuscaloosa while working as a partner attorney with Brinyark & Frederick. 

A Tuscaloosa County native, Brinyark graduated from Central High School and attended the University of Alabama, earning his bachelor’s degree in 1990 and his juris doctorate in 1993.

Brinyark’s campaign centers on his devotion to the district, his experience with the law, and his commitment to conservative family values. He strongly believes in the principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and safeguarding individual freedoms.

District 16 is located north of Tuscaloosa and west of Birmingham, encompassing parts of Fayette, Jefferson, and Tuscaloosa Counties. 

The Alabama House District 16 special primary runoff is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24.

The special general election will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
