MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Business Council of Alabama (BCA) today announced that Georgianna Hunt Clemmons joined its staff as Director of Communications.
“Georgianna is an effective and dedicated communicator with a strong background of governmental knowledge which matches well with BCA’s objectives. She will be a great asset in promoting the pro-business and industry initiatives the BCA represents and advocates on behalf of Alabama businesses. She will be an immediate and effective contributor to the BCA team.” said Interim Executive Director, Robin Stone.
“I am honored and excited to join BCA’s team, and eager to continue growing the strong membership base.” Clemmons said. “My hope is to bring the same passion and drive from my career in public service into serving and advocating for businesses in Alabama.”
Georgianna a native of Montgomery, Alabama, brings a wide range of experience to BCA. Clemmons has most recently served as Operations Manager for the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee minority office. Previously, she served as Deputy Scheduler for U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R- W.Va.) in Washington, D.C. Clemmons earned her bachelor’s degree from Huntingdon College.
