Health Care Reform: Next Steps for Employers

Bill McCollum

Bill McCollum

A former congressman and Florida attorney general, Bill McCollum

will keynote BCA’s 2012 Health Care Forum. During his time as attorney general, he filed a federal lawsuit – which 26 other states eventually joined – against President Obama’s 2010 health care legislation, citing it as “unconstitutional.” McCollum believes that the government cannot force Americans to purchase a product and that the legislation violates states’ sovereignty and imposes an undue financial burden on them.
