What is the Business Council of Alabama’s Small Business Game Changer?
The Business Council of Alabama recognizes that small businesses provide the majority of jobs for Alabamians, and the Business Council of Alabama fights every day for the rights of small business men and women. An Auburn University season football sponsorship is a game changer for a small business and is just another way the Business Council of Alabama proudly recognizes the importance and impact of small businesses on our state.

What does an Auburn University football corporate sponsorship include?
• One (1) 2016 half-page color advertisement in Auburn Football Illustrated;
• One (1) Auburn Football Pre-Game Show radio spot before each 2016 regular season game;
• 300,000 banner advertisement impressions on AuburnTigers.com during the 2016 football regular season;
• Pro-Ad LED Ribbonboard exposure inside Jordan-Hare Stadium during 2016 football regular season home games; and
• Two (2) football season tickets and two (2) IMG Pre-Game hospitality passes for the 2016 regular season.

How do I enter?
Fill out the application. Applicants must be members in good standing of the Business Council of Alabama by 5:00 p.m. CST January 29, 2016.

How many times can I apply?
Only one entry per small business will be accepted.

Who is eligible?
The Business Council of Alabama’s Small Business Game Changer Contest is open only to small businesses located in the state of Alabama and:
a. Are BCA members in good standing (or will be by Contest closing date);
b. Have 50 or fewer full-time employees (at time of Contest closing date);
c. Whose owner (or employee with owner permission) that makes an entry into the Contest is a U.S. citizen and Alabama resident age 19 years or older;
d. Submit an eligible essay entry; and
e. Agree to abide by the Official Contest Rules.

Can I enter if I'm self-employed?
Yes! You are your own small business and as a member of the Business Council of Alabama, we encourage you to enter.

When can I submit my entry?
Submission is open between September 11, 2015 and 5:00 p.m. CST January 29, 2016.

How and when will the winner be announced?
The company awarded the sponsorship will be notified March 1, 2016, and announced during the 2016 A-Day Game (April 9, 2016).

How are entries judged?
Entries received during the submission period (September 11, 2015 – 5 p.m. CST January 29, 2016) from an eligible small business with 50 or fewer full-time employees and a member of the Business Council of Alabama (in good standing by 5:00p.m. CST January 29, 2016) will be presented to the panel of judges, consisting of the current chairman of the Business Council of Alabama, the Business Council of Alabama Small Business Committee chair(s), a representative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a representative of the National Association of Manufacturers, and the current chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama, who will judge the applications blindly on the creativity, originality, and values and principles expressed in the 150-word entry. Is there any cost to enter?
There is no entry fee. To be eligible to win, your small business must be a member in good standing of the Business Council of Alabama no later than 5 p.m. CST January 29, 2016. To be a member in good standing, the member must be current in their annual dues (starting at $500 for new small business members; existing members remain in good standing by continuing to pay their current annual dues rate) by the closing date of the Contest entry period, 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on January 29, 2016.

How do I join the Business Council of Alabama?
Simply fill out the membership application and pay the annual membership dues. Membership application and dues must be received no later than 5:00p.m. CST on January 29, 2016 to be eligible to win.
