The BCA also elected nine new members to its board of directors, while  95 board members were re-elected.

The Business Council’s 104-member board of directors is composed of businessmen and businesswomen representing a diverse group of Alabama companies, of all types and sizes. With guidance from members of BCA’s technical committees, the board establishes the Business Council’s annual legislative agenda and determines BCA positions on other key issues. The agenda is presented to the Alabama Legislature at the beginning of each regular session.
